Biking at night under the moonlight and many star was a real treat. We were able to climb 20 miles before we took a "nap" along the side of the road. We woke and began to bike again and as the sun began to climb in the eastern sky the mountains around us were awesome. We were making good time until about 1:30 pm when the tempature rose to 100 and the hills became . BUT, by God's grace, we were able to endure and arrived safely in Blanding around 3:00 pm. We are having difficulty finding a place to crash tonight but it gives us time to read the Bible and Pray. Hey...only 50 miles to Colorado! Pray for us.

Whew, sounds like the heat is brutal!Ride early, then take the afternoon off, and then ride again.That worked for me.Temps are sweltering on the East coast too!Would love to hear from you too! God Bless.Bro. Bernie.
