Fallon, NV

Yesterday, June 7th was another God-blessed day. We began our day in the snow-covered California Sierra's with prayer and Scripture and ended the day 115 miles later in the hot and dry town of Fallon, Nevada. God took care of us down the mountainside and through the Nevada plains with sunshine and a nice tailwind. We arrived in Fallon at 8:30 pm and were graciously hosted by Epworth United Methodist Church. Since we are now entering a very long stretch of road called "The Loneliest Highway in America," we are waiting until the afternoon to get to Middlegate, NV today to avoid the sun, then bike to Austin tomorrow. We intend leaving Austin in the mid-afternoon and bike more at night to avoid the heat. Our trip is going extremely well. Continue to pray for God's guidence, direction and wisdom as we draw closer to Him and with each other.
